Mass Games 2008 "Arirang" and "Prosper the Motherland!" will run in Pyongyang until October 10th.  The schedule of performances is the same like we announced before. Last Arirang Mass Games in 2008 will take place on the Party Foundation Day, October 10th.

 ATTENTION!  NEW SCHEDULE OF MASS GAMES 2008!
The ARIRANG Mass Games will take place in Pyongyang every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from August 4 till September 29, 2008.
New Mass Games performance "Prosper the Motherland!" will take place in the capital of DPRK every Tuesday and Thursday from August 12 till September 30, 2008.

 NEW!  New Mass Games performance "Prosper the Motherland!" you can see in Pyongyang from August 4th until September 30th, 2008. Before 60th anniversary of foundation of Democratic Peoples’ Republic of Korea (September 9, 2008) in Pyongyang was created absolutely new Mass Gymnastic Show!  It will be performed the same as "Arirang" in Pyongyang's May Day Stadium every day afternoon. Now you have really rare chance to see both Mass Games versions during your visit to North Korea!    

May 13, 2008   (Both matches resulted in victory of North-Korean soccer:  1:0 - with Turkmenistan and  2:0 - with Jordan).

 Two World Cup soccer-qualifying matches will take place in Pyongyang in June 2008.  On the 7th of June North-Korean team will meet football players from Turkmenistan. Regional qualifying match between  North Korea and Jordan will be held one week later on June 14.

According  to  last  information  Arirang Mass Games  2008  will  run  in  Pyongyang (DPRK)  from August 4th until September 30th.

 Pyongyang International Film Festival will run in the capital of DPRK from September 16 through September 26, 2008.  The event originated in 1987 as the Pyongyang Film Festival of the Non-aligned and Other Developing Countries. From 1990 the festival is held in Pyongyang once every two years.
If you will visit Pyongyang at the Film Festival period it is possible to see some of festival’s pictures and take part in the Opening and Closing Ceremoneis of International Film Festival. More details on the official site:  www.pyongyanginternationalfilmfestival.com

January 24, 2008 (The Pyongyang's match was moved to Shanghai and ended with result 0:0, with the same result was played the away match in Seoul on June 22).

 Rare World Cup soccer-qualifying match between North and South Korea  will be held in the capital of DPRK, Pyongyang, in late March 2008. Under arrangements by soccer's world governing body, FIFA, North Korea is scheduled to play its first regional qualifying match with South Korea in Pyongyang on March 26. The away match will be held in South Korea on June 22.
