Note please! Slight changes in the itinerary are possible after arrival in DPRK.
Day 1 (Oct 6, Sat) - Arrive in Pyongyang by flight JS 152 at 16:00. Meet guides at Sunan airport. Sightseeing city-tour with visiting Mansudae Grand Monument (flowers presented at 20 m high bronze statue of President Kim Il Sung)and Arch Triumph (three meter higher than the one in Paris). Check in and dinner at the Yanggakdo 4* Hotel. Expected ARIRANG MASS CAMES*(entry ticket from 80 EUR/person).
Day 2 (Oct 7, Sun) - Breakfast. Kumsusan Memorial Palace (Mausoleum of President Kim Il Sung), Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery. Lunch on the boat Pyongyang № 1. Drive to Kaesong (ancient capital of the first unified state on the Korean peninsula (Koryo) and home of Koryo Ginseng). City tour, SonjukBridge,King Kongmin Tomb, Janamsang Park with beautiful view. Check in Folk Custom Hotel 3* with heated floor (no beds!) and dinner.
Day 3 (Oct 8, Mon) - Breakfast. Drive to Panmunjom (village, where the 1953 armistice that halted the Korea War was signed), DMZ on the 38 parallel with Military Museum, Concrete wall. Lunch at Tongil Restaurant with national Korean cuisine Pansanggi. Back to Pyongyang. Grand People's Study House (people's library), Korean Film Studio. Dinner at Mangyogdae restaurant.
Day 4 (Oct 9, Tue) - Breakfast. Drive to Myohyang Mountains. International Friendship Exhibition - hall of gifts to Great Leader Kim Il Sung and Dear Leader Kim Jong Il, Buddhist temple Pohyon from 11th century. Lunch. Back to Pyongyang. Korean War Museum with animated 1:200 models (moving soldiers, blasting bombs and revolutionary music), Book & Stamp Shop (you can ask about some posters there), Pyongyang's Schoolchildren's Palace tour with children's performance after. Dinner at Hot Pot restaurant.
Day 5 (Oct 10, Wed) - Party Foundation Day. Breakfast. Party Foundation Monument,Juche Tower (150 m high view over the city, lift is 5 Euro/person), Mangyongdae Native House (birthplace of Kim Il Sung). Picnic lunch at the Ryonggak Hill (wonderful view of Pyongyang). US spy ship "Pueblo" (captured by North Korea in1968), Pyongyang's Metro (probably the deepest and the most beautiful subway in the world, some stations about 150 m under surface, mosaic paintings and marble everywhere). Walking in the Moranbong Park (a lot of locals spend the day off there). Expected Mass Dance evening at the Kim Il Sung's Square (you can join in!). Farewell Dinner at Duck Restaurant.
Day 6 (Oct 11, Thu) - Breakfast. Transfer to Pyongyang main railway station and departure at 10:10 am.
Day 7 (Oct 12, Fri) – Arrive to Beijing at 9:40 am.
