Mass Games 2010 dates are confirmed! 

Finally we have got oficial information from Pyongyang that Mass Games 2010 performance will run in Pyongyang on the May Day Stadium from August 2 until October 15, 2010.

Americans can visit DPRK any time and stay there up to 10 nights now!

Good news from Pyongyang: US passport holders are welcomed in North Korea not only when Mass Games are running, but whenever. Americans can stay there up to 10 nights now instead 4 nights like before.

The enter ticket cost from 80 EUR/person. US passport's holders and Israeli citizens are welcome to DPRK from August 10 until the middle of October.

Mass Games 2009 will run in Pyongyang from August until the end of September. Last news from Pyongyang - the spectacular performance Mass Games (Arirang) will take place on the May Day Stadium in August - September like in previous years. The dates are not confirmed yet, but most likely it will start on the first Monday of August (August 3rd) and will run every day except Sunday. Only in that time US passport's holders and Israeli citizens are welcome to DPRK.

Mass Games 2008 "Arirang" and "Prosper the Motherland!" will run in Pyongyang until October 10th.  The schedule of performances is the same like we announced before. Last Arirang Mass Games in 2008 will take place on the Party Foundation Day, October 10th.

The ARIRANG Mass Games will take place in Pyongyang every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from August 4 till September 29, 2008. New Mass Games performance "Prosper the Motherland!" will take place in the capital of DPRK every Tuesday and Thursday from August 12 till September 30, 2008.

NEW! New Mass Games performance "Prosper the Motherland!" you can see in Pyongyang from August 4th until September 30th, 2008. Before 60th anniversary of foundation of Democratic Peoples' Republic of Korea (September 9, 2008) in Pyongyang was created absolutely new Mass Gymnastic Show!  It will be performed the same as "Arirang" in Pyongyang's May Day Stadium every day afternoon. Now you have really rare chance to see both Mass Games versions during your visit to North Korea!

(Both matches resulted in victory of North-Korean soccer:  1:0 - with Turkmenistan and  2:0 - with Jordan).

Two World Cup soccer-qualifying matches will take place in Pyongyang in June 2008.  On the 7^th of June North-Korean team will meet football players from Turkmenistan. Regional qualifying match between  North Korea and Jordan will be held one week later on June 14.

Pyongyang International Film Festival will run in the capital of DPRK from September 16 through September 26, 2008. The event originated in 1987 as the Pyongyang Film Festival of the Non-aligned and Other Developing Countries. From 1990 the festival is held in Pyongyang once every two years.
