Stopover in China

Despite the fact that North Korea has borders with China, Russia and South Korea, you can get there only from China or Russia really.

The most popular way to get to North Korea is via China (Beijing or Shenyang) and many tourists obtain their North-Korean visas in Beijing as well. So, if time permits, you can combine your North Korea tour with sightseeing tour of Beijing or extend your DPRK tour (in case you will leave Pyongyang by train) with short stop in Dandong – lovely small city on the Chinese side of Yalu River!

If you want to do so, please send us e-mail to and we will be glad to arrange these tours for you while you are in China. Note please that Dandong tour is only available to those who will leave DPRK by train.
